The Cambridgeshire Steam Rally returned to Quy Country Park following an enforced two year absence due to the covid pandemic. The event was held in the hot sunny weather we experienced during July and a good crowd turned out to enjoy the event.

There was plenty for visitors to enjoy with both full-size and miniature steam engines on display along with classic commercial vehicles, classic cars, classic and vintage tractors and motorcycles. There were also specialist displays of Unimogs, classic caravans and classic trial riding. A good number of trade stands attended selling all sorts including old parts, equipment, tools, books and models while there was also a craft tent, food vendors and a bar.

The main arena saw two full days of displays with parades of vehicles, the grand steam parade and vehicle demonstrations. Proving popular were the two heavy horse demonstration’s each day provided by Claire Bartrum and her team and presented by Beckie Harvey.

The event will return in 2023 on 22&23rd July again at Quy Country Park just off the A14. Further information can be found by visiting https://cambridgeshiresteamrally.org.uk/
