For 2023 the Cambridgeshire Steam Rally was again held in the village of Stow-Cum-Quy just outside Cambridge. As usual the organisers put on a varied display that included both full size and miniature steam engines, vintage tractors, classic cars and commercial vehicles, motorcycles and stationary engines. It was unfortunate that the show weekend saw some adverse weather with Saturday being very wet all day and Sunday partially wet. Unfortunately this effected both the amount of exhibiters attending and visiting public.
Both days saw a number if displays in the main area with all vehicles classes parading. In addition to this there were two different heavy horse displays each day showing the various uses for heavy horses. These displays included private driving, trade turnouts, in-hand and ridden demonstrations. At the end of the second day there was also an awards presentation.
Away from the main arena visitors could view the exhibits up close and talk with the owners, meet the heavy horses and watch the motorcycle trials demonstrations. In addition to this there were also a number of trade stalls, craft tent, food vendors and a beer tent for visitors to enjoy.
