The Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show was again held at the NEC Birmingham in three halls. As usual this show concentrated more on the restoration of classic cars though there were also plenty of restored cars on display with stands from owners clubs, car clubs and dealers.

There was also the Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership display where show visitors were able to vote for their favourite car on display while the Barn Find display showed cars in an unrestored state as found in sheds and barns. In the restoration workshop there were demonstrations of how to perform various tasks related to restoration while on the main stage there were celebrity interviews.

One very popular area was the autojumble with stalls selling almost anything needed to restore a vehicle or buy books, models, pictures or sales literature of or for you particular favourite car. In another hall was the auction of classic cars and memorabilia along with dealer stands.
